My Garden

in that she holds me down
anchoring my inconsistencies
giving me a sense of permanence
she is my stem
life bringing, sustaining, uprightness
she is my leaves
beautiful foliage that balances and feeds
beautiful connectedness that sustains all needs
she is my flower
beautiful, colorful petals
my eyes and mind delight
delicate, gentle, woman
precious in my sight
