I live my life in fear,
Not in fear of any person or past experience
But in fear that my heart may have a limit capacity unknown
to me
And will impose a limitation on my love for you
I live my life in fear
That the stars shine may dull
And refuse to spell out your name
My nocturnal marquee gone dark
I live my life in fear
that I may lose my memory
my minds picture grow
dim and fade
that I can no longer picture your face
I live my life in fear
That love will be displaced
