If you have never lost your mind
then you have never followed your heart
and you have never been in love
love requires you to be devoid of self
living, thinking and desiring for another
love, if it's real defies logic and reason
how can you be another and still be you
but it's the stepping out of self that drives the passion
and causes the love to be true
