I love that woman

I'm not gonna tell you no corny made for TV Jerry Maguire "you complete me " shit

I'm gonna keep it real

I love that woman

real talk, for how she makes me feel

I'm poor as a church mouse and she likes the finer things

but she never makes me feel bad about it

I scrape my few bucks together a plan and do a little something

I know she's seen and done better but she makes me feel like a king

then she says something and it sounds as sweet as a kiss

we chat and nosh a bit and she subtly says "let me get this"

I love that woman

she quietly holds me down

she always says she done nothing

I can honestly say that if she hadn't come along I would have surely drowned

I was deep in a sea of self-doubt, emotional scars and battered by waves of self-pity

her interest and reaching out was a life boat to me

I love that woman

My desire is to always treat her well

A finer woman there's never been

I want my words and actions to show that she's my ebony Queen
