Ladies help me out with this one....there are some things
that I am oblivious to :
Why do some of y'all think it's OK to talk to your partners
like they are kids? I watched and heard
a woman reduce her partner to child status in a matter of seconds. She said
"That's stupid, we're not talking about that and you're getting on my
nerves..." The woman just constantly shut her partner's conversation down
and I don't believe she was cognizant of the fact that she was doing it; out
loud none the less! I felt like I was watching someone drive a nail....each
comment BAM!!!!!
Have we become so comfortable in our own "stuff"
that we can dictate what others can and can't talk about? What would you do?
Romans 12: 9 - 18
9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what
is good. 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo
one another in showing honor. 11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be
fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be
patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 13 Contribute to
the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not
curse them. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who
weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty,
but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. 17 Repay
no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the
sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live
peaceably with all.
Life and love are all about relationships. It’s God’s design
for our personal growth, which then translates into spiritual growth— genuine
love. Loving one another is a powerful catalyst for change and transformation,
as Jesus says: “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you
have love for one another”
Are you talking in love?
