If you were to leave today, God forbid, how would your
eulogy go? How will you be remembered? We spend a great deal of our lives
trying to convince people that we're OK based on what we need from them or what
they want from us.. We create many tenuous and fragile relationships based on
our disingenuous presentations.
Romans 15: 1 - 2 We who are strong ought to bear with the
failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2 Each of us
should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
Psalm 1:1-6 Blessed
is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of
sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams
of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In
all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that
the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the congregation of the righteous; ...
Matthew 7:1-29
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce
you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the
log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take
the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You
hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see
clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. ...
What am I saying? Many of us are far too comfortable
"preaching" but not leading by example...yes, we're human; yes, we all
make mistakes but we need to stop measuring people and situations based on what
WE would and would not do.........
THE WORLD IS CHANGED BY OUR EXAMPLE....NOT OUR OPINION!!!!!
